ya i did them a week ago. my thumb hurt for a day but it looks great!! for some reason there is scratches all along side the door where they used to be. i dont know but it looks great. you just have to really get close to see them.

Was your paint faded very badly around them? Our's are the same age so I figure it should be a good indicator of mine, lol. The paint on the side of my car is in good shape but those bumper guards are faded bad. I figured I'd pull them off so it doesn't look so bad.

yep mine are kinda faded, the ding guards that is.
