good luck with that. I specificially remember when Sport Compact car got a probe GT to put as many bolt ons they could....

After dumping a lot of cash into it, they got frustraited and gave up because they couldnt get much more power out of it.

I did too, although I thought the MX-6 was the better looking sibling.

I also remember test-driving a Probe GT and a first-gen Intrepid back to back on the same stretch of road, with some nice curves, a camber change over a railroad crossing, and some good straights. The Probe was fun, but what really surprised me was that the Intrepid covered the ground just as quickly.

Sounds kind of like a car I know. CONTOUR!!!! Even when the power is obtained its useless.

Thats because they didnt try using a KLZE manifold with the ecu, which usually net 8-10whp itself (probetalk.com)

There's aguy on cardomain, i believe his title is "hard-boiled" and his probe is probably the nicest i have ever seen. I'm not sure if it's still on there but that thing is gorgeous

Agreed. I had a 1st gen MX-6 as my first car. Not as good looking as the 2nd gen, but man could you beat on those cars and they would just keep running! (or at least that was the case with mine) I miss that car... The kid who bought it totaled it like a month later

I had a 93 PGT for a while. With all the mods I still got beat by an SVT Contour (prompting me to buy an SVT Contour). I had a custom intake, headers, highflow cat, cat back exhaust and I pinned all of the secondaries open.
