I'm going to Cedar Point

must ride:

Millennium Force

Top Thrill Dragster

Maverick

Mantis

Power Tower

Raptor

Mean Streak

.... after you ride those.... start from the top and RIDE AGAIN!!!

Even though the same person/company owns the 2 Cedar point and World of fun is it? Cedar point is lightyears beyond.

Outlawd when are you going? There is a go-kart place by me thats like nascart

Carts just down the street...nothing great though, same road as the main entrance. Cedar Point is huge, you'll spend the whole day there especially since you've never been there before.

Norwalk Raceway (now Summit Raceway) is a very close strip, nice.

Thanks for the input guys. Yes, the same guy owns both the Cedar Point and WOF. I'm leaving Fri. morning and going to the park on Sat. we have a so called special pass that lets us in at 9am. I'm going up w/ my wife and 2 friends. Coasters are cool, but I was hoping to drive some go carts or something while I was on vacation.

Steeda when ever you come through town again let me know,I can get some of the others and we can go to Saddlers (Nascart)or something.

Robby, Like what dates though? What hotel are you staying at? Kalahri is cool as well as the castaway bay.

Last time I was in town, my mother and I only drove through. Brought a tear to me eye since i spent like 3 years there. Kinda miss the Auto-x and stuff.

Erin and I are going to CP in august maybe its the same weekend?

Any Go Cart places in the area?
Cedar Point is going to be alot better then the Park we have here in MO.

There are Go-carts through the back gate, if you pay to get into cedar point you won't have to pay to get into the other place behind it, but i believe they charged per ride on the go carts though.

All the rides mentioned above are must-ride rides! If you're going for more than one day, you won't have a problem hitting them all. You might hit the Mean Streak if you want some old school wooden roller coaster action(in other words, a sore back and whip-lash!). Be careful, I lost my keys last year, riding the Raptor. Yeah, that was the first ride we got on that day, so the rest of my day was just awesome to say the least! Glad I didn't drive! But like Todd said, go-karts aren't going to compare to the coasters at Cedar Pointe!

if you do power tower dropping side you can do the good ol' put a penny in your hand before you drop, but you have to be careful cause it is kind of frowned upon due to potential injury, and if you have loose shoes, defiantly take them off first.

Maverick was cool, but i think it gave me brain damage....maybe because i'm short, but my head was smacking against the bars like crazy.

Millenium force very front and very back are a must, imo...plus you get a free lunch in the front with all of the delicious insects.

Its funny, me and a buddy were there a few weeks ago and we just happened upon Stoobie's car in the parking lot.
