Wow I didn't think it was possible, but I did it. I sheared off 2 of my lugs nuts. I took the stud with em.

thats about what mine looked like. Im pretty sure it happened when I hit a rock last week.

were the lugnuts tightened to spec prior? how big of a rock are you talking about here?

I had all four of mine shear off, on the highway over an hour from home at 2:00AM driving home from Chicago. Lots of sparks when you are cruising on the rotor

yep torqued to spec, pretty big rock id say like 6 inches across and 4 inches tall?? maybe. I didn't get a good look at it.

more like a boulder! YIKES. I too have had that happen. 3 lugs sheered off - scary feeling when car is out of control....
