i got the same one off ebay for $102.50. quality is not the greatest, there are bubbles in the clear coat....and has a small crack. For the price though, I cant complain.

they do have that same hood in C/F, I'll find it and post it.
Edit: I think it was csvtjohnga that had the hood. but I did find another one on ebay for 399 buy it now, here's the link:

I have had it for over a year now, I doubt they are still up there at that price. I paid more in shipping for both my CF hood and CF trunk than what I paid for them

A few of the trunks popped up in the classifieds a while ago..........convienently around valentines day. "Hey GF buy me this, and Ill get you some cheap chocolate and a dozen roses that are going to die in a week!"
......shortly there after, guess what popped up at my door?

Yeah the cheapest you can get that hood for is $490 shipped off ebay. or you can pay $60 more from streetconcept.com
I want this hood bad, but damn that's alot of money to drop on a hood, plus the 18" ADR Comps i'm about to but here in a week also...:drool:

You know, if we got this many people interested in the CF Cowl hood, we should get a Group Buy going through Streetconcept.com. I'll email them and see if they would do that, and what the price would be if we got a group buy together.

I want the evo style hood or an oem im not really a fan of the Cowl Hood anymore! Im awaiting to get a hood before i put on my CF Trunk! 1 question is there a way i can paint another clear to cover to protect the CF more??? If not does anyone suggest getting it painted clear at a shop and with what kinda clear paint if anything special is needed(maybe a UV)??????

I would take it to a shop to get aother clear coat on it if you are not experienced, all that would need to be done if it already has an existing clear coat would be to do a light dulling sand then re-clearcoat it, if you decide to do it yourself make sure not to go through the clear coat into the c/f, this could perminantly damage the look and you'd have to get it painted to cover it up. Be careful and have fun.
