I had planning on doing this for a long time, but was always skeptical on how it would look, but I saw it on csvt2200's car, so I did it...

and yes, I know my car is filthy, and I am ashamed of myself because of it!!

also, this was my wifes reflector, I couldnt remove the paint from my old one where i had the chrome painted black, and i ahve a new overlay coming from parkedcar that is black with chrome svt inside of it, I hate this sticker... my wife liked it though! LOL

Also, as for another opinion, should I have my supertrapp disks on the end chrome plated? and what about the stazi mesh?

get the supertraps plated or something, they look filthy, Chrome on black always is classy :cool:

Stazi mesh looks sick, dont change it.
 
my supertrapps covers are filthy cause when i first got them, i had too few disks in, and it ran a little richer, causing the blackness, they havent gotten any worse since i put two more pucks in, so i think they are good now... but they dont clean up very well, so thats why i was thinking about having them chromed to match the reflector chrome
 
About time kyle..Looks awesome..I always wanted to do it to my SVT when i had it but never did..Umm you need to bring me your vehicle so i can detail it up after i get my Porter cable.
 
I hate the wing I LOVE everything else!!!

Good idea on blacking out that chrome strip and getting a parkedcar vinyl!

Supertrapps will look very nice when chromed out although i also like the black look!

I did it cause I liked the wing. I didn't like the stock wing, I didn't like the nascar cf trunk, but i liked this. Thanks for thinking the rest of the car is dead sexy... if I showed pictures of my oxidized hood, you're retract your previous statement! LOL its getting painted tomorrow though!

im going to come out and say this. that touring wing, is the only wing I like on the back of a contour, it just seems to flow with the rest of the body.

I also like the pre98 trunk and lip spoiler. but thats a different story, thats not a wing its a lip spoiler.

what about no wing at all? That is the way to go...i hate my stock wing!
 
when i got it, it had no wing at all, i wanted a wing, and this is the only one i really liked...

Kyle man i dont care what anyone says about the wing..It fits who you are and your car..Im not a fan of wings but i like yours on your car because it fits you and your character.

That's why they come stock on so many FWD cars anyways? They're just for show...Do you think at any speed less than 100 mph on a turn it would have any affect on a RWD car anyways? Granted his wing is a bit flashy, but a little bit less "Residential Jackass," k? :)

Don't pay attention to the Wing haters!

I like it and I have purchased a Mondeo supertouring wing from a "Bloke" in the UK, So let the Wings Fly :)............
 
the thing is with these cars the rear section is low and short and that is why wings look bad for the most part and nascar spoilers and lips look good....It keeps a low profile and doesn't look out of place. At least this isn't one of those stupid aluminum ones.
