I am so relieved to have finished this repair myself. The dealer wanted about $ 560.00 plus tax etc..
Thanks to getting suggestions and good advice from this forum's
members I had sufficient info to get to this difficult location behind the engine and get my fat fingers and hands to the sensor.
Taking it real slow , it took me about 2 hours to finish.
Took off the coil first.
I did change the plugs while I was at it .Tied a string to the ground strap/wire so I would not loose it in the blue yonder down below .
The hard part was of course to get the wrench to the right place and then get the right position to loosen this sensor ,once loose ,I used my hand to unscrew it and turn the wire along with it. If I have to do it again ,i will just cut the wire ,as long as I have a new sensor on hand.
To make it short , when I put it all together ,reconnected the battery and started it ..it was all worth it , it worked and no new problems caused by my own doing .
No more CEL light for bank 1.
Thank you very much for all your help.

OMG i hated changing my O2 sensors they were a B!tch. especially the sensors before the precats.i think my hands were all cut up after i changed them. But i get save some money. $1000.00 for someone else to do it or $50 for me to do it myself..... i think ill do the lesser of the two.

There isn't much you can't do with all the how-to's on this site. Saves you a ton of cash too. ;)

Congrats on doing the job yourself! :)
