I just had my spec stage one clutch installed and resurfaced my flywheel at a machine shop. It turns ot my clutch pedal still releases extremely late. It feels like it grabs when the pedal is almost completly up. Is there any adjustment for this, i find it really annoying.

yeah i had the same reaction when i installed my spec stage three just a few weeks ago. IIRC there is an adjustment that can be made but im not sure how. ill see if i can find out and will post it if i do.

I have had my SPEC Stage 1 for about a year and it has always been that way. Good or bad it is still running and does not slip when I get on the gas. I tried bleeding the Slave cyl. a couple of times with no differance. If there is a different adjustment for it, that would be nice to know.

i'm having my spec one put in next week, the trans guy I use @ my shop alot might now i'll ask him about it when he installs mine, allthough i like the late release b/c it means early release on the way down and i have a bad habit of pushing my clutch about 1/3 the way in when i shift, but if anyone knows how to adjust it its my guy tony.

There is no adjustment on the clutch but IIRC there is an adjustment on the pedal that does not effect how the clutch opperates only the pedal

Yeah My Stage 2 had the chatter. Currently switching to a Stage 1 thanks to a leaky Slave Cylinder. Not due to the Slave Cylinder... but might as well replace the clutch well Im in there.

Spec Stage 1
Fidanza Flywheel
New Slave Cylinder
New Upgraded Shift Forks

Which led me to replacing a banged up AC Condenser and newly found bad (Aeroquip) Steel Braided brake line.
