I really need to wetsand my headlights, but i can't find the 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit papers anywhere here. I've checked autozone and home depot to no avail. Where did you all find yours?

Wetsanding Paper sources?

Check the Sears tool section.. I never have a problem finding sand paper in whatever sizes/grits/combinations I need there...
Though, I also never have a problem getting it from Home Depot, so take it for what its worth.

Autozone FTW. Right next to the paint. Not sure of the prices, but I picked up 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit packs and a bottle of Meguiars PlastX for under $20. I had enough to do quite a few cars...in fact I did my boss's headlights and charged $20 so I made my money back.
Other wise check a local hardware store.

I just did mine this weekend and found 600 and 2000 wet at autozone. Also rubbing compound and meguiar's plastx.

If they haze back up hit them with 2000 and re buff they only take three bolts a piece to take out.

Why go through that every season when you could just clear coat and go 'head be gone wit' it?

+1 On the clear coat.. You can also get it from Ace Hardware which is where I got mine. I got Plastix from VatoZone

I got my wetsanding paper from Pep Boys and RS Straus! And never had always see it at autozone when i find one! Shouldnt have a problem maybe they are just out!:shrug:
