and already I'm trying to break it.

The battery life sucks so tomorrow I'm going to be getting either a 4600mah from the store or getting in touch with EAMotorsports. He seems to be the way to go and has some cred from what I can tell. Maybe this weekend will be my first race. It has a Firehawk body but I think a GT350 one is in my future.





oh yeah, it's a Traxxas 4tec with upgraded ESC and motor.

well, after talking to one of the best driver's there that day and a few others, I came away with Xray FK05, the 4Tec and TC3 or 4.

I got home, started looking and didn't really see anything. Popped on over to Craigslist and within the last day a guy posted this one for sale for a really good price. The mods and extra parts are worth more than what he asked for it.

I'm just getting started so this shouldn't be a bad place to learn.

Edit: Yeah, I was thinking of the other dude with the 302 in his name. I think he's Fordman.
 
good luck with racing, 4tec's handle like $h!t. My 3.3 jato handles better then my friends OS 18 4tec, which is pretty sad for a 'onroad' car. Maybe the electrics handle a little better then the nitros due to less weight :shrug:
 
I've noticed that if it's set 50/50 it doesn't too to well at turning. But handles alot better, though twitchier, when the diffs are split 70/30.
 
I had a 4-tec 3.3 it was awesome if you liked going 0-60 in like 3 seconds sideways.... It couldnt turn worth a crap.. Now i have a 3.3 t-maxx with a blown trans...
 
Very nice im a team assosiated as well i run a TC3, She is in need of some cleaning and new parts and a alignment these things arent cheap to maintain.
