Speaking of spottings, who owns the silver svt on dubs at the university in oshawa construction parking lot and who owns the silver svt on dubs who cruises in Ajax.

At approx 9:30-10ish PM on Saturday June16th. We were in the black Volvo S60R.. I found out the owners name through Chris at CTAMotorsports. That is one nice SVT that we saw that night.. Oh this was on the 403 between Winston Churchill and the SVT got off at the 410 split.

I wont lie I miss my touring wing lol.. Once my SVT is fixed we will have to meet up, I would like to take a clsoer look at your SVT then look over at mine and cry lol.

Yep I got my old tranny from the Red SVT back:blackeye:. Brand new shift cables and they need to be replaced after 4,000km because the cable ends on the updated shfit cables can't be bought or swapped out. The cable end seperated from the rubber bushing that goes inside the cable end and slides over the pin on the shift tower. My short throw also bent somehow too!

Hmmm....I'm confused now. This trans still has the same shift tower as before, correct? We were able to purchase ends for that tower before so have they now been discontinued or something?

Evan, when I first got the car the shift cable ends kept poping off the tower, in my drive how from Ottawa it popped off 19times :help: . So I switched to a contour shift tower. The problem is the new updated cables come with different style ends (non spring loaded like the 98s) and the cable ends on my brand new shift cables failed so since you can't buy the cable ends off the updated shift cables I have to order a whole new assembly then find someone who would like to install them which is going to be hard because it's a PITA job.

) while I put on my gutted manifolds.
