So, major thanks to Matt R for letting go of his rear disc conversion kit for such a fair price.

I just got the hardware today and I am wicked psyched, this may sound lame... but I have never owned a car with rear disc brakes, always drum and I HATE drum brakes HATE HATE HATE. Ive changed drum brakes a million times and every time I hate it a little more.

So I gave in to my temptation and ordered this kit, the rotors and pads werent exactly what I wanted, but I hear they are quality parts so im not going to complain (I probably would have gotten Bendix, just because).

Either way, Soon after this I should be getting SVT front caliper brackets and SVT rotors, which would make my tour have a full SVT brake conversion. Which I think will look pretty nice with my 17's

I have two questions though...

1) Where can I find the Rear disc brake conversion HOW-TO

2) WTF is this thing?

Thanks guys, will keep you all updated on progress

well jared, me and you are going to be in this together lol. i just bought the same conversion kit. we are going to have very similar cars!!! lol

Glad to see it got there and safe. :) As far as that weird spring: it must have something to do with the e-brake cable, because it was part of the package that came from ford. Maybe it is for the connection at the pull handle.

Umm yea and what about the lines coming out of the car? Long hoses go front.

I never took the wheels off to find out, I havent had time to install the kit. Probably going to get done this weekend hopefully.
