here is pic of my 91 mustang gt i picked up. it has a 5.0, 5spd, 3:73 trac. lock rearend, bbk shorty headers, king cobra clutch, maximum motorsports clutch qaudrant kit, hi-miller hoses, and 93 cobra wheels with sumitomo htrz 255/40-17's which I installed, ther than that the other owners left her alone and pretty much babied her. 2 owner last onwer had it for 12yrs, always garaged no rust, underneath clean, firewall, frame etc. interior 7-10 rear seats hardly if ever sat in, all factory inside sport seats with knee adjusters, power lumbar that works.

plans are to restore it, new trim pieces, full paint etc. keep it the same outside and inside. plan suspesion/brake upgrades, sub frame connecters etc. plus engines mods.

car has 102,000 comes out to around 6,300 a year, not bad for 16yrs old. she has potental.

I took it off for now, the base is loose and it moves around. thanks I loved the 93 cobra wheels. the stock pony wheels I didn't like, and they are aged, too many mustangs have the 5 star cobra wheel which I like but everyone has them.

not at all, $4,500 which I thought was good deal going buy what I was looking at before. I had been looking for awhile, ebay, craigslist(which is where I found this) and such. found many that had rot, interior's shot to hell, motors mickey moused you name it I walked away from so many far cheaper and more expensive.

when I talked the guy and he describe it to me he told me he had a guy coming later that day and the next day, so I brought the cash he was asking $5,000 (talked him down it needed tires bad yeah a set of cobra's) and a repair plate if it was has good has he said I wanted it. it was I bought, i crawled all around the thing, drove spent so much time there that while I was doing the paper work the other guy should up, he offered me $5,500 no crap. but after looking at the crap I did I was letting this one go, this has no rus, pulled back the trim, jacked up got under it around the gas tank everywhere, clean. you can put motors and stuff in them, screw messing with bad body rot!!

I got my 89 GT 5.0 in approx 99' w/ 75k on the clock for 4G's even. If it wasn't under the covers (for the past 5 years or so) I'd snap some pics for ya lol.

Nice whip. Almost bought a white GT but I found the Navy metallic blue w/ silver ground effects that I couldn't pass up on.

^ yeah... they're the same rims he has

Clean lookin mustang man. really low miles, nice find! IMO the GT (striped) tails look ugly. i'd get a set of the lx or cobra tails and put them in their place.

Looks awesome! You've got yourself a decent starting point there. I love the Cobra wheels and I'm glad you didn't go the 5-spoke route like a ton of other stangs out there. Keep it different and unique!

Nice buy man. Need to drop the cheesegraters though :D

And if you need any help on the suspension/brake upgrades, let me know.

I just might know a thing or two about that sort of thing ;) . . .

From everything I have seen and everything you are describing, I have to agree that you got a good price.

Do not listen to some of the others, leave the cheese-grater tail lights, they add character and certain level of uniqueness since "everyone" is always swapping over the blah LX tails.

everyone says that to me, and just about not all the gt's I see loose them. like I said I'm restoring her, and that's the way she cam. it's what she is wearing under the dress that is what will be changed  . miss innocent in a white dress, but a she devil in disguise.

Thats one good looking Fox body you got there. Nice and clean. I agree leave the stock tails on there. How about some interior shots. Gotta love the 5.0L. I live driving around the 5.0L because it sounds so much better than the 4.6L:cool:
