Shifter boot is loose

I'm pretty new, so take it easy on me.
I have only had my CSVT for a little over a month, but one thing that bothers me is that I can't figure out how to get the shifter boot to slide up and attach on to the shift knob. Mine is loose and slides down about an inch or so. I see there is a spring in there, but there isn't anything like a set screw or clip or anything to hold it "up".
Can anyone help me out?

Shift boot is supposed to have a zip tie at the top.

yup... just grab a little replacement one and thread it thru the top area and cut the tail off.

i think if you remove the boot from center console and turn inside out you can see the zip tie at the base of the reverse-lock. just replace the zip should be good.
