Need to know where ground wire on coil pack connects

I think I may have stumbled across the cause of a 2yr old problem that I've yet to resolve.
Bottom line, the ground wire on my coil pack is not there. The suppressor IS. I suspect HIGHLY that it was left off when the dealership did my wiring harness recall. That's about the same exact time that my stumbles/roughness/cold engine crap all started.

So anyway, I see in the manual where one end connects on the coil pack, but it doesn't say where the other end connects (on the engine somewhere I assume).

Anyone have a pix or can describe where it goes?

I just looked at mine. It is hard to tell without moving a bunch of stuff out of the way but it looks like it connects at the other end at the DPFE sensor, as posted above. See it it is dangling there and didn't get reconnected. It could also have happened when changing spark plugs.

Much appreciated, guys!

I'll take a look when I get home, but as much as I've been in there recently, I don't recall seeing any non-connected wires hanging around anywhere in that area. My guess is that they took it off and didn't put it back on.

Is it important WHICH bolt on the coil pack that it should connect to? I'm guessing that all four bolt holes are connected to the same point on the module...but I'd like to be sure.

I don't think it would matter, but I know mine wasn't long enough to reach to other bolts.

When I forgot this ground strap when doing the UIM/LIM/headers, I had some crazy misfires! (which, btw, for those who don't know, is what a blinking CEL is indicating to you... also seen on an 80s Ford truck)

Found the braided ground wire...sure enough. Just hanging out back there.

On to next problem. See my newest thread regarding the new Accel coil pack.
