Help!! Sputtering from idle until the secondaries open up!

Hey guys, I just changed my plugs to autolites, wires to taylor, and replaced the valve cover and intake manifold gaskets. Now my SVT sputters from idle all the way up until the secondaries open. Im almost all out of Ideas and was wondering if you guys could help me brainstorm, thanks in advance for the help!

Make sure your new wires are properly connected. Also, did you gap the plugs?

x2. I dealt with this problem for a bit, that's what helped mine. Also check for signs of carbon tracking on the insides of the boots, and on the insulators of the plugs.

meant to post in here, mods please delete the other post. I triple checked the wires, firing order, and applied the Dielectric grease and it still does it. This is pretty frustrating! please help!

have you verified that the secondaries are working correctly? maybe they are stuck open ...

Good Idea I will check that, although it idles ok, there is still a slight miss. Any other suggestions greatly appreciated!

Check coil pack.

How do you check this? I understand the secondaries are controlled by the IMRC (under the plastic cover).

I have the same hesitation problem (new plugs/wires didn't fix it).

Its real easy to cross plug wires 1 and 3. The roughness it causes isn't as severe with the revs up. Check this first.

Ok, so I took the coil pack out and checkd it and it read 14 across 1,4 2,5 and 3,6 and also made sure all of the wires were fine. The car is jacked up right now and im at a loss. The engine got progressively worse and then finally threw a code: P306 misfire in cylinder 6. Re checked the plug wires and coil pack, did th4e dielectric grease and everything seemed fine. Anymore ideas guys? I am going nuts over here

My next step would be to check the fuel injector w/ a noid light to see if it's getting a signal to open/spray.
