Sorry for the lack of updates guys! Ive been having issues getting ahold of the owner of the shop due to our conflicting schedules. Im expecting a call back tomorrow morning regarding the status, they should have either been cut this week, or going into the machine before friday.

And no, you're not the bad guy man!!
 
There may be a few. These will be done by the beginning of next week. The shop owner apologizes to me, and you all for being so backed up. Ill try to get them shipped out by the end of next week!

To make it quicker for me, does anyone already know they will not be using the decorative trim?
 
These are worth the wait - I really like mine and I didn't use any trim around the edges.
I will most likely get some narrow foam weather stripping from Home Depot and stick it to the hood... seals from the top that way.

Personally I think the car has a better intake sound now than with the OEM air box.

4 days without anyone saying whether they wanted the trim or not, so i figured id say hello! I am so ready for my heat shield!! Pud, call the shop, tell them people are threatening death... just playing! No, really, I'll kill someone if I dont get mine soon, just kidding! No really... ok, i could do this all night!

those look good! i WAS going to list my shmo shop heatshield in the marketplace but aint nobody gonna buy it now with you making these things! :blackeye: i guess ebay it is...lol.

ps if you ever want to make stuff for the cobra/lightning/ford gt crowd (or any other hipo cars) and carry them on my site (and on svtp) let me know ;)

I picked them up friday, im waiting for the trim and for the boxes. After that its all downhill :)

Thanks steve :). Id have to find someone local with those cars to do any kind of prototyping. Deff something ive been interested in. Ill have to see what happens :)

lol yup, boxes came in friday afternoon. Im stealing all the free hippy newspapers this afternoon to package.... Still waiting on trim though.
