What would happen if you don't have a crankcase vent filter? I never really looked for mine, but today I was looking around and I don't see one. There is no line or filter or anything where I see them in some of the pics I've seen.

The Zetec crankcase vent filter is in on the bottom of the air filter housing (box). Open up the box and remove the air filter and you should see a small filter "thick-cloth looking thing". Duractecs did not come with it from the factory. I think most of what you see are modifications on the 3Ls.

Thanks Tony. I'll have to check out my air filter cause I don't remember ever seeing the "thick-cloth looking thing" under it. :shrug:
