Where is the PCV valve located on the 2.5l? I was looking for it, but I haven't had much luck.

Thanks,
Adam

It's right under the throttlebody... a little towards the firewall side of it, and closer to the UIM. A hose runs from the PCV to a brass pipe that comes off the bottom of the UIM.

The directions from Autozone are for the 2.0l engine. fwiw.

Which directions or which "Autozone site" were you looking at?

From Autozonelink previously posted.

2.5L Engine
See Figure 17
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the IAC valve tube from the upper intake manifold and the air inlet tube and remove the tube.
  3. Remove the EVAP hose from the PCV valve.
  4. Remove the vacuum hose from the throttle body.
  5. Remove the PCV from the oil separator tube.
To install:
  1. Inspect the oil separator tube for wear. Replace if necessary.
  2. Install a new valve in the oil separator tube.
  3. Replace the hoses and air tubes removed.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.

The AutoZone picture shows some of the PCV hoses but it doesn't quite show the PCV valve. It is a little lower than the illustration shows. The upper connection is part of a "T". The lower part slides into a hose. Often the hose is stuck to the valve and you need to slip a very small and thin screwdriver between the hose and the valve and then slide it around the valve to get the valve to slide out of the hose.
