I have never been flashed by anyone on the road for my bulbs. D2R bulbs are a must if you do not have projectors. Proper aim is a must also. You cannot follow the stock halogen aim, as it will be too high with the HIDs.

right on, our halogen based headlights are NOT designed for HID output so if you do an HID setup regardless, be sure to aim them low and doing it the right way with D2R bulbs
 
And Goonzey says "our" like he's one of us anymore :) haha jk-- It's all about the positioning I suppose, even with stock high class cars sometimes the output is extremely bright-- I'm not a flasher personally, so I let it go
 
Keep in mind that the video was made in europe (with the pounds instead of dollars). Even though, all I have to say is that the reporter's statement at the end pisses me off. :mad: It could cause death? Come fu(#ing on!!!! When's the last time someone saw a news report at 9pm about a terrible accident with three deaths because someone had HID's.... seriously.

I've had my HID's in for about a week now. I have YET to be flashed by anyone at all. I've driven in the city and in the countryside, so I've been able to test it with ambient lighting and also when there is no lighting but headlights. Still, not a single driver has flashed me.

I aimed mine up higher when I got HIDs. I paid good money to improve visability, there's no way I'm aiming these things low. I have yet to be flashed by ANYONE with these on.. I had more people honking and running me off the road when my fog lights weren't adjusted right.

Forget the haters. I pass people all the time here with aftermarket HID kits in their cars and nowadays people expect these 'blue lights' to be bright.

Hey retard, not only is blinding other drivers annoying, its also very unsafe.
 
people only seem to ***** about the bluer hids. ive had 4300k for a few weeks and ive yet to be flashed. anything blue and people are like oh hes got those damned blue headlights that are too bright so they flash or complain.

Mine are 8K. They are VERY blue. Nobody has flashed at me ever.
 
I just buy two 2 million candlewatt flashlights, rig them to my battery.. and show no mercy.
 
Well lets look at it this way: If all the complainers out there had them then their headlights would be bright enough to compensate and the aftermarket ones wouldnt look so bright when driving.
