Ok so when I get on it and shift at (6500rpm) when i get into the next gear the RMPs only drop to like 6000 and slowly drop to like 5500 then go up slowly. Now the motor and exhaust sounds like its trying to go but its not picking up at all. Every now and then it will get halfway threw the gear and take off. To be honest I think my 97 Saturn SW2 wagon could out run my SVT. Now my father and friends dad say it could be the clutch is getting wet and slipping. There is a leak under the car, and we don't think its motor oil. It does not smell, look, or feel like motor oil. We think its the clutch fluid leaking from the slave valve and getting on the clutch and burning the fluid (the leaky fluid looks black). Does that seem like a possibility? Need anymore info please ask I gotta get it fixed its killing me! Ill try and post a video of it later.

drive at 10-15mph.

place car in 4th and floor it. Does the car accelerate? Do the REVS climb either way?

If the rev's climb, but the car does not accelerate, then your clutch is slipping.

Revs drop, car picks up very slowly

Very funny i had this same problem altho when i started out and put my car into 4th gear it slipped like a MOFO..Babyed it home and tore down replaced clutch Spec Stage 2 was dead..Your brake fluid is black looking after awhile of being in the system..

Doesnt sound like your slipping if you did Rays test..
Go to find out after my clutch was replaced my master was as well bad and was not fully disengageing the clutch so that helped it slipped.
