List So far:
Cleaned and Repaired Radiator.
Rebuilt Transmission: New Shift Forks, Synchro’s, Seals, and Stock Diff (nice and tight, no play)
New CV boots
Replacing Power steering Rack
Tie rod ends
New Lower Control arms, with new Ball joints.
New Front End Springs
New Clutch
New Flywheel
New Sway link end bars

New bolts, nuts and so on all over the place...

Total bill:1100... and no torsen!

There is more im sure... but whatever.

Just seeing that list, and figuring with all that labor... back in goes a stock clutch, stock flywheel and stock diff... what a shame. That's also a good time to install headers, when you have your subframe off and the transaxle out of the way.

Yeah - everybody thinks the same. Money is always a problem - espically when it goes into a DD.

No real gain on upgrading the clutch in this application -

If he completely drops the subframe to swap a tranny, he needs more smare!

I'd drop the entire thing if I was replacing the power steering components that are attached to it...

What for? Half dropped is still plenty of room to replace the rack with the tranny out.

Also, for those of you nay saying the stock clutch/flywheel...
How many of you have run a spec clutch?

I can thinkg of 5 people of the top of my head that are NOT happy with their Spec Clutches.
Both Stage 1 and Stage 3.
