Hey ya'll I was thinking after meeting Big Jim the other day, again thanks Jim for help on the warmonger brakes. I really do appreciate it, that we need to have a meet. I would love to meet a few more people and go for a cruise. I know we tried to get one going a few months ago, but this time lets make it stick. I'm open to any ideas or suggestions.

Just did the fron't, the rears are waiting to go on. also I will paint the calipers. I toook a shot with my phone for the front, without wheels on, but I have no idea on how to post it.

id be down for a meet, just depends how far it is from san diego. ive got no one to talk to about contours down here, theres only a bunch of hondas and i just sold my integra.

forget your OC, i hate that show. we should just get a meet goin down here in san diego. i know of a good place down here as well, ikea/costco parking lot on the weekends. honda-tech members meet there on saturday so we would have to do it on a friday so we wouldnt clash with them.

We could split the difference as we have done in the past and meet somewhere in south county- Laguna, Irvine etc.

Ideally, I'd like to have my subframe fixed/upgraded first- clunk clunk!

Im down in San Diego too, dont come on here much anymore though, everyone moved away but I would be down for a meet if its relatively close

I've been to the last two Cars & Coffee events in Irvine... Saturdays, 7-9 a.m., off Alton and Irvine Center Drive (just North of the Spectrum at the Ford PAG/Mazda center). I'll probably be there this coming weekend.

What about the inland Empire?? Theres a good stretch of route 66 there and plenty of hangouts to ride to including some of the oldest In and Outs. Its about 2 hrs away from me, but I have family there and it'll be an excuse to visit my sister I haven't seen in ages.

Yes, that's an idea. Pretty much anyone who lives in the L.A., Riverside and San Bernardino county areas can pick up Route 66 somewhere along the way. You wouldn't have to drive 2 hours to get to the start of Route 66 (Santa Monica) but maybe you were saying 2 hours to your sister's. But, yeah, the more "historic" part of R66 begins in San Gabriel Valley and heads east.

Get Your Kicks on Route 66

Technically route 66 starts in AZ in Siligman. My parents live there. Yes I was saying my sister lives about 2 hrs away in Upland.
Ah, who told you that? Exhibit A: http://www.national66.org/frame_photo_ndx.html You'll note that on this page on the left are several other location links. That one in Duarte isn't 10 miles from my house. Exhibit B: http://www.historic66.com/ Note the map at the top of the page. There are plenty of websites dedicated to R66. The definitive definition here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Route_66 Note that some 300 miles of it are in California. So, as I said, we could pick up the closest point along the way to where we live and meet somewhere and after we'd cruised it awhile, stop for lunch. The road goes through 20 cities between Santa Monica and San Bernardino. East of San Berdo the road enters the desert proper so I'm not sure now far anyone will want to venture after that but anything's possible. Maybe even Dion will be able to make it since we'd be nearby if we went that far east.

The city of Seligman, AZ. There's not much there its about a mile long an it has one sign. It reads Seligman, AZ the birthplace of route 66. I'll get a picture next time I visit.

Anyways wasn't this a thread about getting a damn cruise/meet together. Not a pissing contest to decide where rte 66 started and ask if anyone is selling their wheels.
