helpppp! clutch blew today..need quick fix.

my clutch went out today. I need to get it fixed as quick as possble becuase I need to go to carlisle on the 2nd of june(big car show). I have a shop that can do it for me. what i need from you guys is some tech help. I am not that experienced with the interworkings of the MTX-75. I would like to go with a SPEC Stage 3 Clutch and Spec aluminum flywheel (beacuse i plan on turboing the car in the fall, and i feel it would be heavyduty for that.) Reading what most of you guys have posted, you would recomend a Ford OEM TOB and the Ford full-synthetic tranismission fluid. Can some one provide me with the OEM part numbers for these items. Is this all i will need to succesfuly complete my clutch repair? I also plan on doing an LSD torsen upgrade later on once the turbo is on. Also, someone posted that it takes about 14 hours labor to do the job. If the shop drops the sub frame would they still need to remove the tranny to do the clutch job? Any how-to specs you may have will also be very helpful with this. some members told me that sthe syncro may have also went bad on the trany due to loud noises from 2nd-3rd gear shifts, so would these be a good time to do the "forks"? I herd there are high performance forks available, where could i get these and aporxitmitly how much would they cost?

Your SVT is costing you a lot lately huh? Sorry I don't have answers for you but good luck with the turbo, I want to hear how it goes and see some pics when you get her in shape.

you might as well put the differential in while your getting the clutch. it will be cheaper and easier in the end. if the syncros are going bad, you might as well rebuild the transmission. how many miles do you have on your transmission? as long as your transmission is out, you might as well do all these things.

ehhh theres no way im gonna be able to get a 600 differntail in 10 days...im 16 so moneys a lil tight : (...my car has 159,xxx on it. I dont remeber if it was replaced or not by the original owner.

yes plenty of money.right after i got home from seein you. i decided to take the SVT for a spin and then all the sudden i hear a loud pop and next thing i know the tranismisson winds out to 7k rpms and the clutch started smokin so i new it was over then. thank goodness iw as only about a mile from my house. so we walked home and hooked it up to the ranger and pulled it home. but this sucks cuz i dont have that much time till carlisle and now ive gotta get all this done to it now. so looks like the bumper paints gonna have to wait a few weeks. but it should be lookin good soon : )
