Plug under console?

I attempted to search but it was hard to search because I really don't know what to look for.

What is the harness plug that is under the center console in a 98 CSVT for?

And looks like they moved it between the shifter and e-brake and gave it a metal housing. At least that's where it is on my 2000.

No I am talking about right in front of the parking break below the console. There is just a plug w/ nothing connected to it. I can stap photos if no1 knows. I am just really interested to see what it is.

There's an empty socket on my SVT as well. I think it's something the non SVT's had. Traction control maybe?:shrug:

There's one plug that is already in use right by it, and then there's another one right by that. Yes?

I do believe it was a plug for the automatic transmission.
