Kremithefrog
Hard-core CEG'er
Having trouble, especially on the new forums, finding information on this.
I have a 402 egr code.
I cleaned the egr hoses once which didn't help.
I have a gutted cat (soon to replace with a resonator type muffler) but I think I had codes before I gutted it.
I have msds headers and ypipe with MIL eliminators.
We tried to turn the EGR system off using the xcal2 but I'm still getting the CEL.
What should I start looking at and any easy test that can be done? The ford cd list so many things I don't know where to start and I figured there may be some common cause that is already known.
I'd love to have this taken care of before SZ. Thanks for any input.
