whine on acceleration

I noticed a few weeks ago, that when I accelerate I hear a faint whine. It goes away before I get up to full speed. Sometimes I don't hear it. I only hear it when my window is rolled down. I can't remember if it did that last year. I was wondering if its coming from the transmission (I really hope not).

Anyhow car has no problems shifting, no cel's, no overdrive off flashing. Shifts great.

Mabye its normal. I dunno. I searched and found nothing

Its the turbo spooling up!

or a different intake. The stock on is very quiet and any aftermarket application is going to out out more sound.
