Enough with the smoke!

From the fire around Waycross. The wind don't blow our way so we ain't gotta deal with it.


And the fire should be out by next month, so only a few more weeks of it, even less if it rains.
 
The main waycross fire has burned over 100,000 acres, and there are a good many smaller fires close to it and in other counties further away. The waycross fire was set when a tree fell on a power line but they're finding some of the other fires in georgia have been set by arsonists. Good thing about the waycross fire is that it has not burned too many homes. That part burning in the okefenokee swamp they're just letting burn and keeping a perimeter around it since it's good for the swamp.
 
Ugh, yesterday was terrible here! It almost blocked out the sun in the late afternoon, looked very overcast and visibility was pretty bad.

Yeah, I had my lights on during my drive home from work at 5:00pm :crazy:. At one point the sun completely disappeared, it was very eerie. Doesnt seem as bad today, maybe the winds have changed direction?
