Don't stress out over not being able to post pics Rog or you'll lose your hair....
Ummmmmmm nevermind....:o

$6.00 a month, you can set up a cool website for your detailing buisness, a forum, and your very own image gallery to host pics on any site you want. Kev and I have a gallery set up over on www.ChicagoCEG.com and split the cost. Plus your own e-mail dmain like Roger@topcatdetailing.com or whatever you decide....

This thread is taking off like a MCS at the lights.

Coming from you I'm not sure what that means:rolleyes: but I'm going with Todd's suggestion. I waited it out this long because I paid up inadvance and besides, I've got alot of CEG history on those albums in clubphoto. Now as far as the commentary with the pics, well, that's just me and some actually learn things from them when its about old cars, imagine that:shrug: Fototime is in my future and BTW I clicked onto the link where the (1) pic was a guess what it said...temporarily unavailable:nonono: I'm VERY proud of my new ride and have done more to it 2 1/2 weeks then I did in 2 1/2 years with my CSVT. Its probably a good think I can't post pics of my car because I would be percieved as being arrognat about my new ride:rolleyes: Did I mention how AWESOME it is :troutslap: and FAST too==========14.9@95 mph stock, well its not stock anymore, that was way back to about a week and half ago!

it is a sweet ride Roger, I really liked it when I saw it. I loved the micro turbo on it ^.^

What have you gotten done to it?

My mods in detail!

My mods in detail!

A bit more of a detailed listing:

-Helix "stubby" antenna. I walked into the dealership to get my car, unscrewed the stock 18" "RC" antenna and added this piece, before it left the showroom floor:crazy:

-Nokya H8 yellow fog bulbs. With having HIDs the stock, halogen fog bulbs don't cut it, so when I got the car home those were added:)

-35% metallic window tint. For the first time I took the plunge and went a bit darker than the 50% I usually go with:o

-Custom exhaust. Done by PF&E of Harrison Township. Using T304-SS, the owner fabbed up a custom, 2.5" system from the flexpipe back. We opted for the polished SS Magnaflow muffler w/ an oval-type Pypes polished SS tip that flows with the stock cutout in the rear. The sound, oh God the sound:drool:

-194 NA parking light bulbs. It seems they like white, boring parking light bulbs in Europe, so I changed that to some amber ones, nice and cheap:shrug:

-Chrome turbo badge. Worth the usual 5 hp, I added a Porsche-style tubo badge to the other side of the boot and it looks:cool:

Whalen shiftknob. One of the first things I wanted for the car was a cueball shiftknob and I added this next. The shifts feel so much better and the looks can't be beat!

17" PIAA Sport Mesh wheels. Weighing in @17lbs according to what the guy at PIAA told me, this was my next mod. The finish is hyper black and is VERY sharp and unique:cool: I stuck with the stock Dunlop runflats because there's really nothing wrong with them IMO. Parkedcar custom decals that say MINI in chome on a black background are coming to me as I type this. That mod will make it look like the wheels came from the factory, ofcoarse;)

Homemade intake. Since there isn't a CAI for my car on the market yet a guy on the forum took it upon himself and bought a universal K&N for his. After reading his post and seeing it was ok with the ECU and all, I too now have this mod done to my car. Let's just say "PSSSSSSSHT". You can now hear the electronic BOV, sounds AWESOME!

This concluded my mods for the year. I did about 2 years worth of mods in about 2 weeks, but fear not, more is on the way next season in the form of H&R springs and if its available, ECU re-flash to pull out more of the power that's waiting to be tapped into! BTW I will be wrapping my stock rims with perf snow tires too.

I LOVE MY CAR!!!

Someone's going to say it, so it might as well be me:
