Well, I got my hands on some SVT stuff, and well, I wanted to use them, but need to sell instead because some financial matters are catchin up to me and I want to be able to take a vacation from work at some point. Soo...once I get this stuff cleaned up, it will be for sale.

The point of this thread is to see if you guy's think my asking prices are fair to the current market /demand....feel free to tell me what you think....

1) 1998 Contour SVT UIM - minor scrapes and scratches, surface is great, just some nicks on the front, nothing major - $250

2) 1998 Contour SVT LIM - Will include fuel rail and SVT injectors - $125

3) 1998 Contour SVT TB - Will include SVT throttle cable bracket, no cable included, MAF is included - $75

All of the above for $400 (intems 1, 2, and 3)

4) 1998 Contour SVT CAMS - $150 (94,489 kms)

5) 1998 Countour SVT Heads - $150 (94,489 kms) includes valves, valve springs, and rockers.

6) 1998 Contour SVT Valve covers (front and back) - black, free of any scratches, great contition - $120

Above three items (items 4, 5, and 6) $400

7) Timing cover - perfect for painting, from SVT contour (don't know if there is a difference) - $25

8) SVT Flywheel - great shape, perfect for a machine shop to take down for a lightened SVT Flywheel - $45

9) Unorthodox Racing Pulley - Blue, lightened aluminum retails around $175, used looking to get $85 (will include bolt)

10) Timing chain tensioners and guides - $25

All of the above items - $900 (items 1-10), individial prices for everything would amount to $1050.

So...what do you guys think of the prices? Fair....should i ask more or less for certain things? What do you think? Pics needed to tell price?

Since Ford wanted $900 for the UIM only, I think it's reasonable what I'm asking.

By the way, I know my post count is low here....but I'm a mod in Ontario NECO. So I'm not some newb lookin to rip people off. Also, this is not an official FS thread, just to see if you guys believe my prices are fair.

Thanks,

Dan

Well depends on where your going to sell them. Some people from here might pay more because they REALLY want/need the parts. If your just selling generally, you might have a harder time selling them, but I think you know that. If I were you, I would try to get what you want from them and if no one bits than lower the pricing.

I'd be selling on here and on NECO. I know I could get a few more bucks for some of the stuff, but I also don't want it sitting here forever. :) I'm looking to sell mainly in Ontario to avoid shipping on stuff like the heads and cams...
