Dear Fellow Cheader Heads
I am comming to the Fox lake meet on Saturday, not to show off my car but to look at your Vehicles and "Steal" your secrets. I will be very willing and open to listen to any ideas you have on how to improve my SE's Performance. Right now, I want to try and squeeze as many MPG as I can. I travel 84 miles a day to work and back. I have replaced the stock Exhaust with a SVT exhaust and replaced the resonator with a Magna Flow 10435. I am also in the process of buying a SVT intake to swap for my SE Intake. Any other advice such as Changing PCV valve, new spark plug wires, etc will be greatly appreactiated. I also have a question about gasoline. The owners manual says I can run 87 Octane gas in this car. Should I be running the higher Octane Gas? At approx $0.10 a gallon, it means about $1.20 more per fill up. Any advice you can give me will be greatly appreaciated. I will bring a note book to record your ideas and comments.
I am looking forward to meeting you all. Have A Great Day and God Bless!!!
Sincerely,
Johnny T.
