I'm going to be having my clutch replaced by PRT next week and I am undecided if I should get a new TOB or not. The clutch that is going in is used, but still in great shape. This clutch will also only be in till next year when I get my trans rebuilt by TH and a SPEC 1. I tried to email Terry Haines, but the only email I found was on the old forums and I haven't heard back from him yet. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Kyle

secondline@ameritech.net is the email that you want and he will get back to you ...

if you are definately going to replace it next year with the new clutch and its working fine now and upon removal looks good I don't see why you couldn't use it for another year ...

unless, are you using the same pressure plate, not sure if one the tob and pp wear together if it would be bad to swap one out or not ...

I emailed him there this early this morning and hadn't gotten a response yet. I guess I was getting a little impatient  I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row. The new(used) clutch has its own pp, so idk how that will go yet

I know it's $100 for peace of mind, but it's also $100 more I have to spend before SZ. I already have enough expenses with the carferry and everything related to SZ. If I had the money I would do it, no questions asked, but I just wanted some opinions before having to spend the money, thats all.
