Gots me a SVT

#4892. to the registry I go. Ok, build number suggests it is an E1 and so do the rims. but it has the clock in the dash and the door guards are slightly off from the 24valve high output badge.....and I thought both of those were signs of an E0. hmmm.

Thats wot i thot too. Mine's like #63.. or sumthn. No clock n 24valve badge.

It could be a random SVT that got leftover E0 parts, as some did. Or was recontented by the previous owner (though who would put ON ding guards?).

That's still not much work needed for the price, good find. In this area, the only ones I've seen for around $2K need new engines or transmissions. Regular Contours are going for stupid cheap though.
