I only have $2k

Like the title says, I only have $2000.00 to work with, I need my motor either rebuilt or replaced. 130,000 miles and she's making some noises` I HAVE searched the site, but what I need to find is someone or someplace that can do the work for me in lower Michigan.

#1. What are my options for the price range?
#2. Who does this kind of work? ( Stazi? Todras? )
#3. What do the gurus recommend?
#4 Is it even worth it? ( I love my tour obviously )

2k should be able to cover a used 3L and install, cause used 3L go anywhere from like 500-1000 depending on mileage and such.

For $2k I'll give you a full turn-key 3L. You would have to do nothing but show up with the car and the money and then come back and drive away when I was done.
