lean it out under cruise conditions.
SAFC can do that, better yet you can get an xcal2 and a tune that will improve your tune and gas mileage.
What year is your mark8 and what is the pcm code?

I have an Xcal 2 already 
I dont remeber the PCM code though. I will likely keep it after I sell the Mark VIII.
