Power sunroof/moonroof Motor bad

I have a 98 Contour SE with 198,400 on it. Still battling the CEL regarding 0401 codes, but that is another topic for another day. My problem now is my sunroof/moonroof doesn't open with the switch. What happens is it moves about 2 inches then stops and there is a buzzing sound. If I want it open and then to close it, I have to open it by hand pushing it back while pressing the open/close button.

Is it the "motor"? How much do those usually run? and where might I get one without spending a lot of cabbage?

Try www.sunroofgears.com or www.odometergears.com , 2 vendors I know of from CEG, but have not used myself (no sunroof). There is a plastic gear which breaks. Possibly, Webasto (they made the sunroof)
