Rear strut brace/bar

I searched the new forums, admit I didn't go digging in the old ones.

Can someone quickly summarize how the SP compared to the BAT compared to the "Bradness", etc. etc. What are the positives and negatives of each?

Which ones can we still get?

They all do the same thing whether its welded in or not, it'll be the same effect. I believe neither SP or BAT carries them any longer. So your last resort would be bradness because I'm done making them probably for good.
 
Bradness's can be welded or bolted. I don't weld, so I bolted mine. Later, I ran into a problem when I installed my H&R springs. Those springs are wider than the SVT springs, so the bolt was hitting the springs. I removed the brace and cut the bolts short so they would thread in enough to temporarily support the brace. I then went to an exhaust shop and installed the brace with shortened bolts there for them to weld. Then removed the bolts and they filled the holes. A good side effect of this method is I was able to cut the side carpet perfectly (reinstalled the brace with the carpet in, then cut around).
 
Too bad streetflight/adc/whatever doesn't make them anymore. Perfect fit, good price, and no welding/drilling. I actually sold mine at one point but was fortunate enough to negotiate for its return.
 
Bradness' parts are of the up-most quality and I would highly recomend buying his stuff, I have a pair of tubular rear control arms and they are top-notch shizit!!:laugh:
 
i really want to know where my RSTB came from. theres no way it was a DIY job. this thing is really nice. i'll post pics tomorrow
