...well I am intalling them but i have a few questions.

1. the mils. can i do them without the pc board and retminals? i think i can, but i am not sure from the how to, what goes where. I cut the grey wire, and put the resistor between the two ends, right? then the capacitor goes/bridges from the black wire to the gray wire, without cutting the black wire, but just by tapping into it. right? but the other end of the capcitor, the one that goes to the grey wire, where exactly does it go? between the resistor and the 02 sesnor, or the resistor and the wiring harnes plug?
am i missing something?

2. how on the world do you take the egr pipe off. that thing is solid hard stuck and not moving anywhere. any suggestions? I was thinking to unbolt it from the top (where it goes to the egr valve) and take out the rear manifold still attached to the egr pipe...would that work?

You might be able to do that with the egr, its worth a try, then you would at least have it on a bench to work with. Keep hitting it with PB blaster in the meantime.

no i don't need the 5/8 compression fitting. this is only needed for weapon R headers if I am not mistaken. I am putting the MSDS once. It fits perfectly. I removed the EGR tube from below (the exhaust manifold). All it needed was a big and long 27mm wrench, mine huge biceps and 200lbs pushing it...

so I am almost done. I will start doing the MILs, but i have a bad feeling about this..

I also found that I had a torn/broken stud, on the front/bumper side. I guess someone had tried to remove them before...well the car has been with only 5 studs and nut on that side, but would it make any difference when i am running the headers?

ok, juust a small update. got the headers in there. the homemade mils so far seem to work. no check engine light. i dont know if the car had more power yet, but it seems to rev up faster in first gear...who knows. I will see tomorrow. HOWEVER, it sounds like crap. For the experts here, what should I do to get the best sound??
Current set up:
MSDS->optimized y-pipe->stock main car->stock(i think) resonator->straight pipes without any mufflers.

before the car sounded awsome. now...it doesn't. so can i fix that with a bigger magnaflow (possibly, be biggest one that will fit in the space) since i don't want to spend the money for a resonator, and two mufflers for teh back.

i don't have any mufflers. I bough the car with only a resonator and the straigh pipes after that. I know they are not that restrictive, but i don't have them. what size/model magnaflow will do the trick?
