Anyone have a pic of carbon tracking?

Just like it says. I'm looking for a misfire cause, and noticed a darker line on the insulator on the plug. I need a good pic of what carbon tracking looks like on both a plug and on the boot of the wire if possible. Thanks.

If you have to question a hairline crack, replace the plug.

I didn't see any cracks. I was doing a search, and many talked about carbon tracking, but all the pics in teh old posts were not available. I was just wondering what I should be looking for. Is carbon tracking an actual crack, or is a a deposit-type mark on the plug?

It looks like a pencil mark on the plug insulator. It does not wipe off, might be more than one. It could resemble a crack, and it you can feel the residue. (I was trying to find the carbon track photos myself, they were gone. No luck on Google..)
