I just noticed that the tire on the front drivers side of my car doesn't look centered in the wheel well. I compared it to the passenger side, and that one looks centered. I am up for any suggestions on what could cause the drivers side tire not to be centered correctly. Also, how much space should be between the edge of the tires and the edge of the wheel well?

If the car goes down the road straight (no pull) and the tires are wearing evenly it is probably not a suspension problem. Look over the body panels first to see if something has shifted.

No matter what, it would be a good idea to get under the car and look over the suspension and steering.

As for a measurement, I have stock wheels with 225/50ZR16 tires. If I hold a tape measure at the widest bulge of the upper part of the tire and shine a flashlight from above, I show that part of the tire to be 1/2" inside the wheel well on both front wheels. I hope that helps.

Check your ball joints & make sure they're seated up into the knuckle. Then check under hood for the strut tower caps & nuts.

If both of those look OK, inspect the control arm bushings at the subframe to make sure they aren't badly worn.

You're scaring me Raymond.
