Meineke has resorted to putting a contour on it's lid in order to attract attention :nonono: Should have flipped a Metro over...woulda been easier and cheaper :laugh:

Maybe it's different in your area .. but Metros are being advertised for $1500 around here ... that Contour is cheaper even if it was running! I'm willing to bet it's a $500 car that needs a transmission.

I see metros advertised for $2000. one of my friends was going to buy an 1.0L I3 94 metro with 115K on the clock for $1400 I told him it was worth $800 maybe.
 
Hey, I just bought a 98 Contour Zetec for $600
Manual everything (windows, seats, tranny, locks)
No split folding rear seat.
No cruise
No sunroof
No foglights
It's an "LX"
A/C is broke.

But the engine and tranny are good.
