I instaled a KKM intake yesterday in the csvt and since then i have had the car stall 3 times so far. it happens only in neutral. i disconnected the neg. terminal and unplugged the MAF while instaling...whats going on??

Check your "elbow" tube (IAT) on the firewall side of the filter.

Car will run if you hold the gas, but die as soon as you let go, if you forgot it.. its EASY to miss.

Yah one of your vacume lines (theres 2), or sensors arn't hooked up, or plugged in all the way (theres also 2)

MAF censor/IAC are on the front side of the intake.
the 2 vacume lines are on the rear of the intake.

the car will start with of these not hooked up but wont maintane idle and will stall. so check all the connections!

also make sure your clamp around the mouth of the t.b. is tight. Any leakage (as stated several times) will cause the motor to quit...

uh.. the kkm only requires the stock airbox be removed.. bolt on the adapter then stick on the filter.. no where does any vac lines become removed in the process...

yes.. i am having the same problem.. Any help would be a appreciated.

The suggestions are all listed above.

And Jeff...
Yea no vac. lines need to be removed, but thats not to say that while wiggling or removing one thing, something that may have been loose (or not) came unattatched.

my car did this some too. It had to do with the computer re-learning the proper idle, etc. Ultimately my car figured things out w/o changing anything. Don't know if any of your cars are going through this same process.

check for vac leaks/cracks in lines, rotted lines could crack with pulling/tugging that happen during an install. Had the same thing happen to me
