Installed my svt fogs today with 893 hyper yellow nokya bulbs. Pretty dissapointed, not as yellow as I had hoped. Decided to do a crappy parking garage photo shoot while I was at it.

My "White" superbrightleds license plate bulbs:

Like the license lights, however, they don't look very 'white' to me :) Hopefully they are more white in person or else you might get a visit from Mr. Police Officer

The only bulbs that are going to give you intense yellow (like the Lexus IS300) are the PIAA Ion Fog's I hate to say it.

Then again I've said that again and again on here

I may still have some pics in the photobucket account if you want to see how they look.

In the mean time check this pic. The Ion fog's look exactly like the 3000k Hid color and I mean exaclty

See they dont look as yellow to the eye as they would on the ground, im looking at the ground and I can see yellowness. And your license plate bulbs..are those suppose to be white or blue? Cause I have white..this is what they look like

We installed PIAA yellow plasma fog bulbs into my wifes CX-7 a couple weeks ago and they look great:cool: With the HIDs and yellow fogs it gives the ride a "Lexus look"! I actually ordered some other ones but they were on backorder forever so I stepped up and plunked down the money for the PIAAs but the only thing I could read on the package was PIAA, everything else was in Japanese:eek:

yeah yeah...you get what you pay for, i know! I just wanted to make due with what I had and I didnt want to buy the luminics "jdm" (blech) yellow bulbs. This seemed like a good option at the time. I'm not ready to plop down 300 for a quality set of fogs/lenses, but I was hoping for a little better color contrast on my fogs/headlights than what I got, ah well, just wanted to share my experience/opinions.

I dunno Chris, those look really really blue, superbrightled screwed up my order too and sent me blue bulbs instead, it looked just like yours. Im pretty sure you got the wrong bulbs man

I have the BAT Amber lights in my fogs and I'm pretty happy with them. They project more yellow then amber. Although like it was stated before, it's no Lexus yellow, but I'm happy.

While I was under my car checking out damage from my accident, I decided to take some comparative pics for documentation's sake.

I swear I didn't touch the glass at all while installing, but it looks like the nokya bulb is getting a burnt spot

I see a difference in that pic...but to see a REAL difference, you must upgrade to like Hella fogs or PIAA with the H3 bulb

I ended up ordering the Noyka instead of the Hella's from your link Gooz because the word Amber/yellow kept coming up in the description, scrared the crap out of me so I went with the Noykas. Besides, Hector has them and he told me they are yellow as hell, Kevin has them too, good enough for me and I'll find out in a month when I get the car:cool:
