So I got the cavalier back and the contour got a bath. Here are the pics! First time they were ever side by side!

ehh.. clean SE i guess, minus Hood/tails/exhaust

haha I know everyone hates the scoop, but I think that horse was beaten to death over a year ago, and then shot, and probably skinned, then maybe run over by a dump truck. lol I hand made it with a hammer and sheet metal and its functional (for the tenth billion time there is fiberglass air ducting attached under the hood!) haha But yeah the end product wasn't what I orginally aimed for but, I put the project in motion and spent enough time and money to stop at the point that I realized that the shop I had access to didn't have the tools I needed.

I like the tails, and it was just one way to make my contour different from others. The lights are pre-98 and have the circular pattern molded in. And when the brake like up at night you get a black ring on the taillight, almost like an inverted halo. It looks good person, and its not really noticable until you right next to the car.

But knocking the exhaust??? You know thats a 2.5 inch kit that probably over half the forum runs right? I actually took offense to that one rookie...

I like the tails. As Scott said, you really don't notice them until you are right next to them. They look good when they light up.

The hood scoop would look better on the Cavi.

yeah, put that boxy hood scoop on that boxy cavalier. That hood scoop looks completely out of place. I know you said, "Dont bash people for trying different stuff." but honestly, that kind of different is not good...not good at all!

Gotta love the black SEs! Clean looking ride. Shesh, I wish my car was that clean. Perhaps, with the 50 degree heat wave this weekend, I'll get a chance to clean it.

The scoop is not my flavor, but as long as you like it:cool:! I love the sound of trubendz set-up, but I still think the SVT exhaust on SE is more aesthetically pleasing (though I am partial!).
