Hi everyone, My 1998 Ford Contour SE 2.5 v6 with a CD4E trans is slipping out of 1st and 2nd really bad. At idle with the breaks on it will slip in and out of 1st to no gear.
I get a code of P1747 and I see that it says "solenoid short circuit" Is this something I can easily fix on the outside? Or do I have to open up the Trans to replace the entire solenoid?
