So in the process of installing a lower final drive and torsen to my trans i found all my bearings are trashed due to a bad rebuild with improper preload. I got the differential shims taken care of as they were listed individually, but the shim kits for the input and output shafts from ford are astronomically priced to say the least. the input kit is 100 and the output kit is a redonkulous $300... they must be made of unobtanium...

so my question is does anyone know of a shop that can make me some shims, or does anyone have a few laying around from their rebuild? i would need the 1.0 mm measuring shim as well as a few sizes to get the correct preload values. someone has to have been down this road before, please help!
