i just got finished replacing the torque converter and valve body on my 2.5L ATX. Definatly check your oil pump in your atx, if you are going to pull it, I checked mine, and the clearance was WAY off, by like .2 of an inch, so i replaced the pump. Just a little FYI if you are going to pull the tranny. The car runs perfect now, cost me about $500, but the shop that i took it too said i needed a new atx, glad i didn't listen to them!! that would have been $$$$$expensive. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL OF YOU HELP, I SAVED A LOAD OF $$.
