Few things we're considering doing to the 98 mystique: 1. new headers/y pipe 2. ditch that there resonator 3. dynomax or other performance exhaust just wondered if anyone had suggestions on equipment brands and/or other zetec mods that are worth my while. Why is it that i can find 964093650934 different types of "Racing" headers for honda's, but not for a domestic 4cyl? - maybe i'm just looking in the wrong spots located in mississauga, ON

kamikaze header, you'll have to search for one, maybe get a used one, and then make it fit. it cost a little bit of money and it makes your car sound like swarming bees, but it has good gains, talk to hector. CTA makes best intake out right now, though if streetflight would ever release their's, it'll be better (i e-mailed keith, but no answer ), used svt exhaust or a good straight exhaust would be good, get a high flow catalytic converter. and get a Superchip.
98.5 SVT
91 Escort GT (almost sold)
96 ATX Zetec (i brake to watch you swerve)
FS: SVT rear sway bar
WTB: Very cheap beater

The Kamikaze header from what I have been seeing, is gone. ZXtuner.com has an alternative and Hector thinks the similar focus header may work. Exhaust mod would be, SVT duals or a similar from a exhaust shop you trust. 2.5 in exhaust piping, the consensus of the site is the magnaflow series of mufflers. Bees, Love em! If it means more power, I will rename the car Busy and go out stinging imports. Highflow cat! Good idea!!! CTA has a highflow cat, CAI...If the bee sound is not for you, replace the resonator with a magnaflow hi-flo resonator. That will tone the sound down some. Have fun L8R Rich

that's why i said maybe find a used kamizake header, zxtuner's alternative may not work, though yeah, the focus header might.

2003 Subaru WRX some mods
Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.
