I was recently informed that my dyno plot looks very odd. Never had one done before so I wasn't sure what I should have been looking for. #1 I was told the max power and max torque curves should always cross at 5250 RPMs. Mine don't cross until just a tad over 5600 RPMs. #2 The graph starts at 4400 RPMs. Do I need to request where they start the graph or is that abnormal that it starts that high? #3 The power and torque plots go all the way up to about 6900 RPMs. I was standing behind the car for the run, I would think if they had bounced it off the limiter I would have heard it and I would probably have been a little pissed. So, what gives?

I just looked at my 7 recent runs - they all cross at 5250 (or close to it). I recall that the reason is related to the tourque to HP conversion equation. Can't answer your question otherwise though.
