Luke pleasse tell me what you think of the firehawk touring LH for a contour .. I really need a smooth, damped supple ride first, a quiet one too, good snow traction next and acceptable (400- up) tread wear and good looks. unfortunately most companies consider a 60 series tire a performance tire and make it hard. Please let me know what you think or suggest. I have 205-60/R15s

Fellow ceg'ers let me know what you suggest too!

The Touring LH is actually a very good tire for what described. I would also suggest you take a look at the Bridgestone Turanza H Revo. It offers better steering response and performance while still maintaining good ride quality and does have better wet traction and snow traction.
Thanks, Luke

what about RE930's have them on the 'tour (i think the changed them this year cus they look different from the pics now- luke??)

They are very good in rain and snow, have a noticable softer sidewall than the firehawks... i don't know about wear cus i go through a pair of tires (in all cars i've had, all tires) every year.
